Researchers including oncologists, faculty, postdoctoral researchers and graduate students who are inexperienced in big data science. For graduate students, we require you to pass the qualification/preliminary exam to apply. With supplemental funding from NIAID, we also welcome researchers in infectious & immunemediated diseases.

All applicants will be required to have finished coursework related to cancer biology, to have research training in cancer studies, and to have taken one graduate level class in statistics.

To apply to the workshop, applicants must complete the online application. It calls for applicants to provide personal information, a summary of education background, a research statement (at most 2000 characters), an NIH biosketch, and completion of a questionnaire which helps us assess your statistical/computing skills. Additionally, graduate students/post-docs/research staff will be asked for a letter of support from their mentor(s) that clearly states that they are supportive of your participation in the program and recognize the time commitment necessary to successfully complete the program.

You need to provide the CITI training certificate, complete pre-course survey, go through the pre-course materials, and set up accounts for accessing supercomputer as preparation for the training program. Instructions will be provided once you are enrolled.
